OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) refers to compliance to NFPA standards, and noncompliance of Standard 70B can potentially expose employers to a citation under the General Duty Clause (§5(a)(1)), if they fail to create an effective Electrical Maintenance Program (EPM).
